This is the traditional cutting system for carbon steel plates.
The technique is based on a propane/oxygen mixture that locally brings the steel to a temperature of about 1400-1500°C.
When is oxyfuel cutting the best choice?
- For thicknesses above 35-40mm
- You need to ensure perpendicularity of the cut
